My dadโ€™s had the frogger one forever. It used to work fine, but now it has some screen issues where it sort of fades out and in, and sometimes things donโ€™t show up. Maybe a capacitor, or solder issues.

I usually use "Goo Gone" to remove any kind of label residue.

It's bizzare how the newer PacMan is not a Nintendo-on-a-chip. I can't imagine that the segmented-display nostalgia value would be worth the extra effort/tooling costs, so presumably they had that device first, and based the form factor of the others on it. (I only own the Oregon Trail device that came out โ€” slightly later, I think, and which is definitely a Nintendo-on-a-chip.)

A Circuit would have helped you a ton with the circle holes on the controller label. I think they make a small model for cards that might work just as good

Wow, the memories these bring back!! I had a couple of them. One was a Galaga or Galaxian, can't remember. But I also had a Donkey Kong Jr one, which was built differently. You had to put a light source on the top of it to get a better lignting on the screen…

Might be a polarising filter at 18:00, they were used to stop glare in glass from the segmented display panels sometimes.

I must say, I loved your cartridge restoration video, and I think all the crybabies who got mad at you replacing a label on your cartridge were entirely in the wrong, all based on the slight happenstance that a collector might get duped by a label.

Those cartridges, as well as these tabletop games are your property and you are entitled to do whatever you like to them, you should never cave to the unreasonable demands of angry, emotionally incontinent man-children. The labels you made for those cartridges were amazingly done, and the labels you made for that DK tabletop were equally so, you should not have to remind yourself that you re-made damaged labels.

If the Mona Lisa isn't above being touched up and restored, neither are plastic electronics.
